Celebrating a Year of Learning, Launching Future Ocean Stewards

On July 18, 2026, CTC successfully held the 12th and final session of the Ocean Keeper Club, celebrating the graduation of the program’s third batch of young ocean stewards. The graduation event brought together 71 students and nine teachers from our partner schools, marking the completion of a year-long learning journey. Throughout the program, participants explored marine ecosystems, conservation, and sustainable actions through engaging, hands-on activities designed to inspire the next generation of ocean advocates.

As part of the graduation, participants completed a final assessment to reflect on the knowledge and skills they had developed throughout the program. The assessment provided an opportunity for students to demonstrate their understanding of marine conservation while looking back on their personal growth over the past year. 

The event also celebrated the dedication and commitment shown by both students and teachers. Sixteen students were recognized for achieving perfect attendance across all 12 sessions, demonstrating their enthusiasm and consistency throughout the program. In addition, two outstanding teachers received special recognition for their active participation, meaningful contributions, and continuous support in creating a positive learning environment. 

I hope Ocean Keeper Club graduates will put their knowledge into action and become role models for their friends, families, and communities. The graduation concluded with a medal for every student, recognizing their achievements and commitment as Ocean Keepers. Each partner school also received a certificate of appreciation in recognition of its ongoing collaboration and support for the program. As the third batch graduates, Ocean Keeper Club continues to inspire young people to become future champions for marine conservation and take meaningful action to protect our oceans.
