CTC and Living Seas Featured at Australian Consulate Gathering in Bali
On June 30, 2016, CTC attended an event hosted by the Australian Consulate in Bali to bring local non-government organizations and businesses together to discuss cooperation. Around 60 people attended, and it was a great opportunity for networking. CTC was invited to highlight its partnership with scuba diving company Living Seas, to show the mutual benefits that can flow when business teams up with a local non-government organization. Leon Boey, who runs Living Seas, spoke about the reef health monitoring program it offers to guests in collaboration with CTC. Under the program, Living Seas guests receive a certificate of completion and a portion of the proceeds support conservation activities facilitated by CTC and the Nusa Penida Marine Protected Area Management Unit. A great outcome for everyone!
